Roshel and Daimler Truck AG signed a memorandum of understanding at Eurosatory 2026 in Paris on June 16

The Brampton-based armoured vehicle manufacturer will combine its protection and integration capabilities with Daimler Truck's military platforms for NATO and allied markets.

Brampton, Ontario-based Roshel Inc. and Germany's Daimler Truck AG signed a memorandum of understanding at Eurosatory 2026 in Paris on June 16, establishing a framework to jointly develop, produce, market and support protected and armoured vehicles for defence and security customers.

The agreement pairs Roshel's armoured vehicle design, integration and production capabilities with Daimler Truck's military platforms, including the Zetros tactical truck, Unimog, Arocs and FGA platform family.

Areas of cooperation include vehicle development, industrialization, localization, lifecycle support and sustainment across NATO, European, North American and other allied markets.

"By working with Roshel, we are combining complementary capabilities to provide defence and security customers with protected mobility solutions," said Dennis Kinzelmann, CEO of Daimler Truck Defence. "Daimler Truck contributes proven vehicle platforms and industrial capabilities, while Roshel brings expertise in armoured vehicles, operational experience and rapid delivery capabilities."

Roshel has delivered more than 2,500 armoured vehicles to Ukraine, giving the company experience producing and supporting vehicles used in active conflict environments.

The companies said the partnership could support Ukraine assistance, NATO interoperability and defence supply chain resilience, with localization options including in-country assembly and supply chain integration.

No contract value, production order or delivery schedule was announced.
